How this site is built to be accessible — and how to reach us if something stands in your way.
Our commitment
weltenbummler.info is built for accessibility — not as an afterthought but in the craft: semantic, valid HTML; every core function works without JavaScript; full keyboard operation with a visible focus ring; sufficient colour contrast; and prefers-reduced-motion is respected.
Standard and assessment
The benchmark is WCAG 2.2 AA (EN 301 549). We test with keyboard and screen reader and automatically with axe — across every page of both language versions, on desktop and on a phone. This is a self-assessment, not an external audit. Last assessed: 14 September 2026.
Current state
Following this assessment, no barriers are known to us: the automated check reports no violation on any page, the keyboard path is complete on every page and focus is always visible. Since 16 September the target areas in the header measure 43 to 46 pixels, level with the recommended 44; the limitation previously stated here no longer applies. Without an external audit we cannot guarantee full conformance; we follow up on any barrier reported to us.
Report a barrier
