A few images that count.

Three months on the island: highlands, basalt, black sand and a light that refuses to set. Most of these came from patience, not luck.

Here the road north is the subject: a birch canyon at Abisko, rain over the Lyngenfjord, then the bridges of the Lofoten. Five frames out of three weeks — the rest was driving.

The Baltic instead of the Atlantic: shifting dunes, pine, shallow water. Less drama, more line — and the camera spent more time on the tripod than in hand.
